Dr. Aoife O’Dwyer qualified in UCC in 2012, where she was awarded the first prize for Restorative Dentistry in her year. After working in England for three years and completing her initial post-graduate training, she returned to Ireland and began a Masters in Restorative Dentistry with the Eastman Dental Institute. This programme focuses on further training into all aspects of general dentistry, providing functional and aesthetic dental treatment specific to each person to ensure optimum dental health and appearance.
She joined the Callan Dental Team in 2015. She forms part of the implant team at Callan Dental after completing a postgraduate course about dental implants with the Northumberland Institute of Dental Medicine. She has also undertaken postgraduate courses in regard to TMJ pain and tooth grinding. She has also attended courses where she received training to provide botulinum toxin injections, used to relax facial muscles.
Aoife is a member of the Irish Dental Association and regularly attends the lectures held to keep up-to-date with the most current dental practices.
